Around 90 clients and homeless people were seen by health professionals in a massive screening day at Huggard.

The programme, lead by Public Health Wales, involved testing for TB and blood borne viruses, as well as providing support for other health issues thanks also to Cavdas – Cardiff and Vale Drug and Alcohol Service, The Hepatitis C Trust, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Everyone was offered a free drink while they waited and the event was a huge success in providing 1-2-1 support to people who otherwise struggle to access health services.
