Last Winter: Huggard. Wales’ leading centre for rough sleepers, supported 873 unique homeless people and sheltered 488 individual rough sleepers in Huggard’s Emergency Accommodation, saving them from sleeping on Cardiff’s streets.
As the cold weather sets in, winter doesn’t just present a physical challenge to people living on the streets, it also presents an emotional one.
The Christmas season is strongly associated with family, friends and coming together. For many rough sleepers this is a painful reminder of what they do not have.
Please help Huggard to provide not only a warm and welcoming environment, but also the support to leave the streets behind for good. With your help we can make a real and direct difference to people’s lives.
